Sustainable Energy:


Sustainable energy represents a synergy of power sources that are both eco-friendly and renewable. It’s the golden thread that connects economic growth, increased social equity, and an environment that allows the world to thrive. This form of energy is harvested from resources, which are replenished naturally, such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat.

Solar Energy: Solar energy is the radiant light and heat harnessed using a range of ever-evolving technologies such as solar heating, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, solar architecture, and artificial photosynthesis. It’s a type of sustainable energy that taps into the vast, inexhaustible power of the sun. The technology converts sunlight directly into electricity using photovoltaic cells. These cells don’t need direct sunlight to work and can still generate some electricity on a cloudy day.

Wind Energy: Wind energy is derived from the movement of air driven by the heat of the sun and the rotation of the Earth. Wind turbines capture kinetic energy from the wind and convert it into mechanical power. This mechanical power can then be used for specific tasks (such as grinding grain or pumping water) or converted into electricity by a generator.

Hydroelectric Energy: Hydroelectric energy is generated by the movement of water. It’s not a new concept; water wheels have been used for centuries to mill flour and perform other tasks. Today, hydroelectric power comes from the potential energy stored in dammed water. When released, the water flows through turbines, spinning them, which in turn activates generators to produce electricity. It’s a clean, renewable source of energy that helps reduce global dependence on fossil fuels and mitigates the effects of climate change.
